All in all the whole property looked like a great place to get shivved, or hepatitis, the employees had no uniforms of any kind and were unkempt.
My car was damaged and while the employees weren't rude exactly it certainly wasn't 'service with a smile'.
At the end of the wash there was very little seating for the people waiting, and what little there was was completely open to the elements. The employees were playing loud music and, again, everything looked dirty and disorganized.
When I got to my interview I also found a divot in the plastic of my passenger side mirror (probably hit with a brush during the prep).
Save yourself some money and grief and drive the extra five minutes down 70e to a GOOD car wash with friendly employees that actually care about their customers.
Aside from during the prep my car was only sprayed with soap once.
I felt itchy after walking through a dark, dingy, dirty hallway (with obvious water damage), to a sad little lobby/store area. It was nice being able o walk through and see my car being washed, in a sense, because it let me see how dirty and old everything is.
I've been coming to this car wash for the past 4 years. They have the best service for the best price. My car always looks brand new! Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants their car looking great!
When the attendant got in my car to drive it out he first stalled the car, then yanked on my steering wheel (in a rush to adjust it I assume). Turns out he yanked it hard enough to pull the entire steering column out of the adjustment tracks AND broke the plastic bezel around the steering column. I'm lucky I wasn't in an accident having the wheel move all over the place until I could stop and fix it.
Even with the coupons they gave me when I paid (a bribe to come back?) the wash was expensive (my usual place is $1.54 lees, provides free self service vacuums, has three times the equipment, which is new looking and clean, and probably 5 or 6 times the soap.
I come here at least a few times a month and am always very happy. But this time, I have no idea why or how but there is a perfect circular hole in my carpet on my passenger side??? Strange.
Prices just went up but it's still well worth it. They do an excellent job. It looks like they detailed your vehicle for the price of a regular car wash. I don't bother going anywhere else.
Now, it's a car wash and all of the dirt on our cars has to go somewhere. You expect to see some dirt on the floors/walls This place looks like it hasn't been cleaned since the '90's.
Big mistake.
This car wash might have been 'ok' thirty years ago, but they need to spend some of the money they're gouging out of their customers on some soap and decent equipment.
So, I was late for an interview and wanted to get my car washed first. I stopped at 'Magic Touch' instead of my usual place because it was on the way. I figured for a basic wash (and considering that my car really only needed to be rinsed off) that a car wash is a car wash.
Terrible...never again. The washing system left the sides barely touched. They rely on you to point out areas that need fixing. After I pointed out problem areas, the two attendants literally turned their backs and walked away. Attention to detail was terrible.
I must admit that the attendants did a lot of prep work, spraying the wheels with a pressure washer, scrubbing the bumper etc, before sending it through the wash. I suspect they do all that because of how terrible the automatic wash is.
